Update/Upgrade

Hey Ladies! What's good? As for me, I've been chilling and pampering myself in every way imaginable. I've been relaxing ( when I'm not working ) and living life, which is my ultimate goal in life. Anywayz as far as hair goes, it's time to do a re up on my hair. Yes, unfortunately it's that dreadful but absolutely necessary time when I have to get my hair taken out washed re-braided ( ouch) and re-sown in all in the name of beauty and divalishousness. I don't think I told what a nightmare it was that last time I left my weave in too long. Whoooo Child. Let's just say it was traumatizing. So now I don't play that crap... evry 2-3 month I gots to get it redone or take it out all together. Yesterday I gave myself a edge up (light relaxer) and a dark brown rinse. I feel asleep with wet hair, which you should try to never do. You could risk your hair getting matted as it drys. Thank you Lord that it didn't do that but it has before so take from me... (back to the story) I never styled it so in the morning of course I didn't wake up early enough to devote 1 or 2 hours on styling my hair. I just flat ironed the top portion of my hair while leaving my weaved hair naturally curly. I like it. I haven't had any heat it my hair in about 2-3 weeks. Hopefully it's alot healthier and my stylist will notice and have nothing but have high praises for me next week...Until then...Stay Fab * Pics to come *

Hair Journal\Schedule

Hey FGezzys! LOL! It's so important to document the things that are done to our hair. Well, at least it is to me,I have to be sure that I will never overprocess my hair! I've been there done that, never doing it again! So this month this is what I've done so far: On 10/21 I had a light edge up used on my natural hair with Designer's Touch no-lye regular relaxer. I also put in Soft&Beautiful's darkest brown colored rinse. On 10/22 I went to see my stylist Rachel, owner of Salon Rache' to have my weave cut in cute and modern layers. We also used the new product I brought which were FHI's Hot Sauce heat protectant and Paul Mitchell's Super Skinny Straighting Balm. I should have taken a pic when I first got it done for you all...it was so fresh and fly. Don't be mad at me ... I'm going back next month and yall know I got you. In the mean time, let me see what I got for yall :) But yeah that all I've done so far and what ever else I do myself before I go to the salon you all will be the first to know! Love Ya xoxo NB
Old Habits Die Hard

So girls, I have some bad news. I haven't been so fly in terms of how I've been treating my natural hair. I tried to moniter the overall progress of the lengthof my hair but in the process did some serious damage. So, I had to cut my hair in a itty bitty chitty bang before I got a new weave. Girls this time I got a 20' light brown weave ( that I alway rinse to dark brown) . OMG what a process! I had to take out my old weave, detangle my three month old cornrows get my hair washed rebraided and resown with the new hair. Wheeeew!! It was a lot but well worth it! I have been researching what experts say in regards to presearving the quality of ones hair while still getting that heated bone straight style we all crave. They say you must always use a sunscreen for your hair, use a hair mask or protein treatment weekly. When using heated tools opt for those that have a ionic heating method and authentic ceramic plates. and use a heat protectant. Also they said to deep condition bi-weekly while being sure that your selected conditoner has either creatine or keratine as the active ingrediant to avoid dryness and promote strength as well as softness.

Frustrations
Hey Ladies, I'm writing today to pour out my frustrations to you about my hair. I'm still in love with my weave and that's what makes it even more frustrating. I want to be in love with my real hair, just as much if not more and I hate it!! (This week any way) It really varies in performance and length from week to week. This week, however I feel like it's lacking in all areas. I just brought some new products from the Alterna repair line in hopes for some sort of restoration. I have fryed mt hair in attempt to match the texture of the Indonesian hair when I wear it straight. I always wear my real hair behind my ears , and it's becoming so annoying!!! So now I must practice using my flat iron in slow moderation to achieve some length before it's all said and done. Until next NB xoxo..... Oh yeah I recorded a video but I'm having technical difficulties posting it but I will have it for y'all soon enough

The conditioner that I use is from the Alterna enzymetherapy White Truffle Luxury some the active ingredients are European White Truffle Oil, Champagne Grape seed Oil, Caspian Caviar Extract and Mediterranean Arnica Flower for ultra conditioning. Last but not least Alterna Caviar Anti-Aging Rapid Repair Spray is for immediate vitality & shine. So these are the products that I use and they work for me... But as the hair experts say sometimes you should switch up product lines because the hair will build tolerance. Well let me know what product you use. NB xoxo

Me?
Let's go over my hair. I have medium course textured hair. The color naturally is maybe a number 4 brown and I currently have a weave sown in for the sole purpose of effortless style 24/7. My natural hair is braided and protected under a net in which human hair extentions are sown. This is my very first weave and I'm head over heals in love!!! It's the best. I treated myself on my 23rd birthday. I just told my stylist that I wanted something extra for my birthday, you know some va-va-voom and she made the suggestion. Every since then, I have just been in love. So the hair I have sown in is Indonesian/Remy and it's not to long maybe 14' inches, it's naturally wavy/curly but also can be straightend. The hair last up to 1yr. but my braids underneath are redone every 2-3 months. I've been living a new dream life with this hair but it's still like a starter weave being as though it's not that long. My inner diva is telling me to upgrade, you know for the summer with a longer length... Well we'll see. Yall let me know what you think!!! Love, NB xoxo

Hey flygirls, this your girl Noweezy Baby here to introduce my new blog to you!!! This blog is dedicated those who want to know all about how to achieve that flyest hair all year long. So, before we talk about styling and products we must first go over how to achieve maximum hair health! Believe it or not our hair is a reflection of our overall mental and physical wellness. That's right! In order to get that hair that makes people want to do a double take, I believe we must first have a proper diet full of lean protein, fruits and veggies with tons of water. Also, we should get at least 7-8 hours of sleep almost every night. Yeah fly girls we've got to get these essentials in our regimen and I know we'll be off to a great hair journey from this day forward!!!! I'm really exicted!!! Let's begin!!! xoxo NB
